Plotnikov's is the largest grocery shop in the town, a place that keeps fine wines, provisions, fruit, cigars, tea, coffee, sugar, and sweets. Dmitri Karamazov rushes there after redeeming Perhotin's Pistols , ordering champagne, food, and delicacies for another dash to Mokroe. The shopmen remember his earlier spree and know exactly how to pack a lavish load for him.
