The Kiss of the Prisoner Also known as The kiss glows in his heart.
At the end of Ivan's poem, the Prisoner gives no argument in answer to the Grand Inquisitor's long accusation. He approaches the old man in silence and kisses him on his bloodless lips. The gesture is the whole reply, and the old man lets Him go into the dark alleys while keeping his own idea.

Alyosha repeats the gesture on Ivan , quietly answering his brother's formula with the same kind of wordless love.
